We don't rush our eye examinations.

Our appointments are booked every  30 minutes to give you time to explain any problems or queries you might have about your eyes or vision.

Our consulting room is equipped with the latest technology, including computer-controlled instruments for glaucoma and visual field screening.

The charge for a private examination is £29.50.

NHS examinations are available for clients who fall into the categories listed opposite.

Please note that the NHS has placed limits on the frequency of eye examinations. It is no longer possible to have an NHS appointment as often as you like. We will check your entitlement when you make an appointment with us.

NHS examination groups. Clients who are:

• Under 16 years old (or under 19 if in full-time education
• Over 60 years old
• Registered diabetics
• Glaucoma sufferers or those aged 40 or over who are the parent, brother, sister or child of a person with glaucoma
• Receiving Income Support, Pension Credit or Income-Based Jobseekers' Allowance
• Receiving Family Tax Credit
• Wearers of Complex Lenses as defined in the NHS regulations
• Registered blind or partially-sighted
• Entitled to an NHS eye examination but subject to the restrictions which the NHS have placed on the frequency of such examinations.
